The Congreso (Spanish parliament) approved yesterday the reform of the Organic Law of Judicial Power, which is a major constraint for the Spanish judges apply the principles underlying universal jurisdiction, ie, pursue the impunity of the most serious crimes. They did it while Peres thanked Zapatero in Israel that Spain is curbing processes against Irsaelian citizens.

About 20 young people between 20 and 36 years attended the course of conflict resolution and nonviolence strategies organized at Amman.The course, held between 12 and 15 August, is part of the activities carried out by the Nonviolence Network of Arab Countries  (NNAC) to improve the skills of the youth of the various Arab countries in nonviolent action and provide them with methods and strategies to identify various types of violence and work towards resolving conflicts and defending human rights in their countries.
