The Nonviolence Sessions of the Arab region starts today in Beirut

On 3, 4 and 5 December will take place the III Beirut Nonviolence Session in Lebanon by Nova, Nonviolence Network of Arab Countries (NNAC) Permanent Peace Movement (PPM).

For the first time, 30 nonviolence organizations and movements from 11 countries of the Arab region (Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, Sudan, Yemen, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Jordan, Iraq and Kuwati) will joint in Beirut to exchange experiences and strategies on the conflict transformation within their countries and to strength relations in the framework of NNAC.

During this August, the Academy of Building Peace in Lebanon (ACP-L), the Institute for Peace and Justice Education (IPJE) from the Lebanese American University and NOVA co-organizes a training program in prevention and conflict transformation Middle East for young leaders.
