The Nonviolence Sessions of the Arab region starts today in Beirut

On 3, 4 and 5 December will take place the III Beirut Nonviolence Session in Lebanon by Nova, Nonviolence Network of Arab Countries (NNAC) Permanent Peace Movement (PPM).

For the first time, 30 nonviolence organizations and movements from 11 countries of the Arab region (Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, Sudan, Yemen, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Jordan, Iraq and Kuwati) will joint in Beirut to exchange experiences and strategies on the conflict transformation within their countries and to strength relations in the framework of NNAC.

The Congreso (Spanish parliament) approved yesterday the reform of the Organic Law of Judicial Power, which is a major constraint for the Spanish judges apply the principles underlying universal jurisdiction, ie, pursue the impunity of the most serious crimes.
